The talented screen goddess, Rukky Sanda has recorded yet another feat with the dinner-like premiere of her latest movie, _Keeping My Man_
which held at Wheatbaker, Ikoyi, Lagos during the week. The talented actress who acted in the movie and doubled as the executive producer was
on hand to receive her guests who were wowed by the touch of rare class she gave the event.
Celebrities such as Ayo Adesanya, Uche Jombo, Tonto Dike, AY, Denrele Edun, Kenneth Okoli, Alex Ekubo, Monalisa Chinda, Isio Wanogo, Daniel Lloyd, Yolanda Okere, Dammy Krane, Oge Okeye, Beverly Osu, Ebube Nwagbo and many others lite up the red carpet to the delight of the paparazzi. Guests were ushered into the buffet area immediately after the red carpet. Food and dessert were sufficient to go round everybody present at the premiere, champagne, exotic wines and fruit juices compliment what everyone had.
Keeping My Man is the story of three women, Rukky, Ini Edo and Monalisa who thrive to keep the sparks in their marriages. Zion (Rukky) and Tokunbo (Ramsey Nouah) are the seemingly perfect couple with excessive public display of affection. Maya (Ini Edo) looks up to them while
Tamar (Monalisa) is the free-spirited woman who questions the role of African woman in a marriage. But all in all, nothing is as it seems.
Keeping My Man explores the length couples would go, doing all it takes to keep the fire of love ablaze years after exchanging marital vows. It is a family story of love, deceit, grit and betrayal. The movie will be one of the comeback movies for leading Nollywood star, Ramsey Nouah who has been missing in action for a long while.
‘I said earlier in the week that _Keeping My Man_ is one of my best movies, the response in the hall after the movie was shown shows that I was not far from the truth. This is a movie every couple should watch, it touches on the heart and soul of marriages and keeping the fire and romance ablaze as much as possible. I am confident this movie will do well at the cinemas and the response of people to the movie in the hall encouraged me and strengthen my resolve to continue to push the envelope, raise the standard and contribute my own quota to make Nollywood earn the respect of the world, and make the audience get money worth every time they watch our movies.”
